CONSERVATIVE & REALISTIC APPROACH
We start with as little pigment as possible and schedule a free touchup 4-6 weeks after your initial appointment to ensure we do not over-sturate your brows and can update your brows after their initial fading.
THE LE KITSUNÉ PROCESS
Every set of new brows comes with an initial appointment and a touchup 4-6 weeks later when your skin has fully healed and the pigmentation is more set. This allows us to conservatively approach your brows and create layers (like in painting) to create a soft, natural outcome that you will love.
In your initial appointment we focus on building and shaping your brows. Everyone's skin takes on pigmentation differently, and this first appointment allows us to conservatively approach your brows. It's always better to add more pigment in the second appointment versus trying to take it away.
In your touchup we really lock in the dimensionality & color that will really take your brows to the next level. Don't worry - you will still look phenomenal after your first appointment, but your touchup will allow us to dial everything in perfectly!
Touchups needed every 6-8 months: Integral to our approach is continued maintenance every 6-8 months. The goal is to look your best - and as your skin sheds cells, every tattoo fades and shifts a bit in color - and since your skin is ~16x times thinner than your body - pigment on your face is more prone to fading and color shifting.
Significant fading & color shifting expected after 6-8 months: We find that right after 6-8 months most will see a significant amount of fading or color shifting - so our clients come in right before their brows are expected to significantly fade or shift in color in order to maintain their new look.
We want you to always look your best: You are worth it. Our goal is for you to always look your best. The longer you wait between permanent makeup touchups, the more the pigmentation will fade or color shift - requiring more work and potential cost to restore your brows to your optimized look. Most people schedule their next touchup when they finish their appointment.
We liken it to getting hair touchups (i.e. roots / highlights) - the longer you wait, the more the coloring and overall look devolves. Half colored hair is not usually a good look.
